VINTAGE PHOTOGRAPH "Vintage 1950s Homoerotic Photo"Year : 1900-1930I am selling a one-of-a-kind, unique vintage black and white photograph from the 1950s, set in a European car workshop. In the background, a car is being spray painted. In the foreground, two men appear to be talking, with a sense of homoerotic tension conveyed by their close proximity. It has been professionally produced, is of exceptionally high quality, and is printed on high gloss, heavy photo paper. It was most likely made for an advertisement or magazine, though it bears no photographer’s mark.
I acquired this photograph at an estate sale from a wealthy collector, and it was included with two original photographs by George Platt Lynes. Given this context and the photograph’s distinctive quality, it is undoubtedly of artistic value and pedigree.
