ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an unusual vintage biomorphic table lamp with its original accompanying cloth textile shade. Circa \'50s. The base is constructed from a ceramic material. It is colored green and has gold accents throughout (see photos). The base is textured throughout as well. The shade has an unusual shape, and it is covered in a nubby green 50\'s fabric material. The lamp has an on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. We are uncertain as to the maker of the lamp - there doesn\'t appear to be an signatures or labels present. It\'ll make a great addition to any modern interior setting.
MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 33.5\" tall x 19.5\". wide. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 22.5\" high. The biomorphic base measures 16.25\" tall x 6.5\" wide x 4\" deep. The rectangular base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 7.75\" wide x 5\" deep x 2.5\" tall. The shade measures approx. 19.5\" wide x 11.25\" deep x 14\" tall.
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. The base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The shade is also in very good shape - no rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use.
