Stunning 1950s Gerald Thurston for Lightolier Desk or Table lamp.

All original cream/white enameled top and base with the original shade, diffuser and brass stem. There\'s a chip on the plastic that hold the diffuser on underneath the shade. The diffuser still attaches securely. This can be seen in the last photo of the listing.

There are a few small chips and scratches on the enameled pieces. Some patina and wear to the brass from age and use.

The shade appears to be made of an acrylic or bakelite and it has a few minor chips.

The hinge for the moveable shade is a little weak. It will hold the shade when it\'s all the way up but when it gets approximately 2\" away from the curved brass part, the hinge can\'t hold the weight and it goes all the way down.

The base measures approximately 8\" in diameter. Approximately 19″ tall and the shade is approximately 14.5″ in diameter.
