ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage table lamp with it's accompanying shade. Circa '50s / '60s. The lamp base is constructed of vertically partitioned wood, while the double tiered shade is constructed of fiberglass. The fiberglass material is a reddish color, and it has black and gold horizontally painted lines on the outer surface (see photos). The lamp as a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. We are uncertain as to the maker, but there's definite quality in this one. It is suitable for any interior setting!
MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 20" tall x 20" wide. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 14" high. The wood base itself measures approx. 12" wide x 4.75" deep x 8.25" tall. The double tiered fiberglass shade measures approx. 10" tall. The larger upper tier measures approx 20" wide x 13.25" deep, while the smaller lower tier measures approx. 16" wide x 12 deep.
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. The base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, dents, dings, repairs, scratches, etc. Shows only the slightest traces of wear that are consistent with age and use - it's been very well cared for by its previous owners. The fiberglass shade in in superior condition - there are no issues to report - no burns, breaks, dents, dings, roles, holes, burn marks, creases, etc.The wiring looks to be original, and is in great shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use.
