Vintage 1948 Royal Quiet De Luxe portable typewriter and case. Beautiful two tone black and gray textured matte finish and very nice black tombstone key board and keys with chrome trim. Excellent cosmetic and operational condition. Graphics are good. Chrome is in very good condition. Very few signs of wear with virtually no blemishes with the exception that the space bar has been repaired. It is very solid and works well. The serial number is A 1623884. The keys strike and return and carriage advances as you type. The platen, paper feed , ribbon feed, new ribbon, margin release, magic margin, tab, backspace, bell are all good. Types great in red and black. Very nice clean typewriter and very nice case. The case is in very good condition and solid. Includes original Royal brush. Typewriter measures 12 1/4” x 11 1/4” x 5 1/4”. The case measures 14” x 12 1/2” x 6 1/2”. Please review all pictures as they are a large part of the description. Being sold as is.
