I did not perform the renovation on this radio but it has new capacitors, resistor and an excellent modern power cord and plug. I\'ve owned this for a couple of years but it has only been turned on 4 or 5 times. Everything works perfectly. The clear dial cover is new as well. The bakelite is in mint condition and looks much as it did in 1946. The reception is great but my area has lots of interference so I get few stations. They are clear and the radio sounds fantastic. Smoke free exvironment.
