Vintage 1940s “Perfection Mothicide”
Avon Products Advertising Tin Can!

Up for sale is a Vintage Avon “Perfection Mothicide” Lithographed Advertising Tin! This is a vintage 8½ ounce tin container for Perfection paradichlorbenzene moth crystals with its original screw-top lid. The tin has bright multi-color lithography advertising graphics in green, gold, white and black, including directions for use on its bottom. This brand was sold by the Avon Products Inc. in New York and Montreal back in the 1940s! The tin measures about 4” diameter x 1¾” tall. As shown in the photos, the tin is in very good condition for its age with some normal surface wear, including a few small marks, light scuffs or scratches, very little surface oxidation, and one or two light dents or dings typical for a container this old. This vintage Avon “Perfection Mothicide” advertising tin would make a great addition to your collection!
