This vintage Royal Junior manual typewriter(serial #J45756) comes in very good cosmetic condition, with very minor finishwear (paint scratches along bottom edge), part of the left side of the ribbon vibrator broken (does not affect performance), discoloration to the key buttons (finger pads), and light soiling from previous use and storage (see pictures).

The unit is in solid working condition, with good action on all the keys and carriage movements. The unit has a good, usable ribbon installed (additional ribbons available on and elsewhere for under $10).

The unit dates to 1936. It has a curved front late Machine Age body style, with a gloss black finish, plated accents, and round metal trimmed (originally) white or off-white keys marked with black letters. It features a 10-pitch (Pica) type size.

The typewriter comes with the original case that has the latch broken but is otherwise in good overall condition (minor scuffs, wear, oxidation on the hardware, and soiling).
