"At Sundown" is a gorgeous landscape vintage calendar salesman sample print by W.M. Thompson. W. (William) M. Thompson (1893-1967) had a short but prolific career as a commercial artist. Beautiful western landscapes, snow covered countrysides and mountain scenes are examples of some his work.

"At Sundown" is 17" x 19.5" in overall size and 10.5" x 14" in image size. The calendar sample has water damage in the upper right corner and some discoloration in the upper left corner. The image is in excellent condition with bright, rich color. It would look beautiful matted and framed.

The cover of the calendar pad is embossed with 1935, however no calendar was added. Advertising in the upper left corner is for F.J. Offermann Art Works of Buffalo, New York. One interesting side note is that Frank J. Offermann was the owner and president of the Buffalo Bison Baseball Team from 1928-1935.
