DESCRIPTION

Here is a Vintage Large 1935 Reliance Lighted C6 KRISTAL STAR Christmas Tree Topper with Clear Points. This could be used on the center of a 9 light C6 candolier, or a bubble light/matchless star C6 tree, and other places.

Reliance was a trademark of the New York Merchandising Company, a prolific importer and seller in Christmas lights in the 1930s, 40s and 50s, using imported lamps from Japan.

The star is in Very Good Condition. Slight paint loss is on the back. See the pictures. It lights. The star has a white tubular C6 miniature Japanese light bulb of 15 or 16 volts. The 5 tips are clear plastic on a metal star. Glitter adorns the front of the star.

Since this has a hard-to-find tubular bulb, I recommend using a dimmer device, to keep the bulb fromburning out. They can be found at Home Depot, Lowe\'s, , etc. They are 300-Watt Plug-In Lamp Dimmers. You can plug many items into it, but if you go over the 300 watt limit, the dimmer will burn out.

The Weight is 1.8 ounces before packing for shipment.
