Up for sale is a Vintage “Ann Page Pure Ground Allspice” Advertising Spice Tin! This spice was marketed by Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company in New York, NY. It was sold exclusively at A&P Supermarkets back in the 1930s! This is a 2 ounce spice tin, measuring about 2⅝” tall x 2” diameter with a metal shaker slide top. The tin is still at least half full with vintage ground allspice inside. The tin has nice bright color lithography with brown and white advertising graphics on an orange background paper label. As shown in the photos, the spice tin is in very good condition for its age with some surface wear and light soiling. It does have a few small marks, light scuffs or scratches, and possibly a light dent or ding typical for a container this old. The label does have a little paper loss and some chipping in one corner as shown. The shaker slide top opens and closes well. This vintage Ann Page Pure Ground Allspice advertising tin would make a great addition to your collection!
