Offered here is a - Vintage Hoosier Glass -Crystal-Clear Glass, Oblong, Small-Size, Lidded Oven-to-Refrigerator Dish orButter-Box – With Deep V Ribbing and a Daisy Button -in most-excellent,gently-used condition....

This Lid has Two Rows of Exterior-Surface Deeply-Molded Vertical V-Ribbing - along the Sides & Ends - there are Clear Corners. There is a Stylized Daisy at the center top - matching the Base.

The form tapers inwards slightly from the bottom edge to the top-flat, stepping-in 1/2 way up where the two rows of rib meet.

This Lidmeasures - ~5 7/8\"x3 5/8\" - to the outer edges of the bottom rim; 4 3/8\" x 2 1/8\" across the top-flat; 2 3/4\" in height.

Low-Profile BASE – dual-handle -

There are a few tiny chips or flea-bites along the prone edges; a little irregularity along the long edge of the Dish (grayish line) within the glass; a couple small scratches into the glass; visible mold marks; some rub-wear to the base seat-rim.

The Base is rectangular in shape with rounded corners. There are wide, generous handles flowing out from the upper edge at both ends. This Dish has an outer edge, an inner rim onto which the lid seats, and a depressed center flat having a large molded daisy detail at the center.

This Basemeasures - ~7 1/8\"x4 1/4\" to the top outer edges; 5 3/8-1/2\" x 3 1/4\" across the base seat-rim; ~ 5/8 - 3/4\" in height - ~3 1/8-1/4\" in height, with the Lid on.

SOME INTERESTING INFORMATION –

There are two different options for lids-One lid matches the form (but very shallow) of the basedescribed here with ribbed sides and a daisy embossed on the center, top. Thesecond lid has a flatter form, large daisy on the centertop, dual flathandles at either end, and is smooth except for the button. The formerlikely designed for as a Refrigerator Dish, the latter as a Butter Box (thehandled piece being the base and the box being the lid - cane be used inverted as a lidded box as well).

Allhard-surface items are – well-washed in hot soapy water, rinsed, air-dried, photographed,wrapped in clean paper towel, packed, and placed into clean storage boxes untilpurchased.

Processing Blankets, Once in Hand -

All Blankets are washed in Wool-Safe LaundryDetergent; dried on warm heat, until dry; photographed from both sides; foldedand bagged loosely, then placed into a storage cupboard having cedar shinglesthroughout the cupboard until sold.

There are videos and web-sites on line whichexplain how wool items can be re-stretched to their proper shape or size (orcloser to) – as shrinkage happens when washed and dried.
