Vintage 1928 Sears Roebuck & Co. Spring-Summer Catalog No. 156 - Not A Reprint - This listing is for a used original 1928 Sears S-S catalog, featuring a small girl and her mom looking at a package of clothes in front of an open catalog. This is a time machine taking us back to our grandparents time where we can explore their daily life through the things that they used. The catalog has 938 pages including order sheets plus return envelopes and covers illustrating everything and anything a person, family or business might want or need. This catalog is 96 years old and as such there are imperfections. It is common for used catalogs of this age to have; -creases and chipping on the covers -chipping, curling, small tears and dog-ears on the pages -pages faded and brittle with age -curved and detached bindings and other imperfections. The following flaws were observed during a cursory review: - The front cover has creases and minor chipping.
- The following pages are loose: 819-900 and a few after are loose at the top.
- There were no missing pages observed.
The pictures reveal the condition of the catalog and as such become part of the description. The catalog will be sealed in a plastic bag, covered in cardboard and shipped in a box.
