The Thirteenth day of May has been selected for our Spring

Ceremonial. It is therefore ordained that all of the Faithful in

our Oasis come together on that day so that the ranks of the

Nobility may be strengthened by the unregenerates who clamor at

our outer gates for admission.

It is my ambition to maintain the high standard of Ceremonials

set by my illustrious predecessors, and while I realize that this is

some task, yet with the assistance of our wonderful corps of workers,

I know that you will not be disappointed with the entertainment

being prepared for this occasion.

All that is necessary to make the day a complete success is a

goodly number of Novices and your presence at the Ceremonial;

these I am depending on you to provide. We do not hold these

Ceremonials purely for the initiation of candidates, but to provide

an opportunity for the Nobility at large to get together for some

good, wholesome fun and entertainment, shake hands with old.

friends and wearers of the Fez, thereby getting all out of this great

organization of ours that is possible.

Make your plans now; lay aside the cares of business on that day

and enjoy with us the fun and entertainment that has been planned

for you.

Wear your Fez and a smile, and we will try and do the rest.

Notice is also given at this time of our Mid-Summer Ceremonial

to be held at Hibbing, Minnesota, Saturday, July 23rd. Mark your

calendar for this date as this will be a real Shrine Day on the Mesaba

Iron Range. Street parades, band concerts, golf Our Range Shrine Club promises big doings on this

date.

Plans for our Pilgrimage to Osman Temple, St. Paul, May 24th,

are fully outlined in the folder enclosed. Make your reservations

early and help make this an Aad Day with Osman.

In conclusion I want to thank the members of the committees

and those who have so generously accepted responsibilities for the

coming year and to assure you of my appreciation of the coopera-

tion that I have received since assuming the responsibilities of

Potentate.
