Vintage 1920s-1930s “Lucky Strike” Cigarettes “It’s Toasted ” (Flat Fifties) Advertising Tin!

Description

Up for sale is a Vintage “Lucky Strike” Cigarettes Hinged Advertising Tin! This vintage advertising tin cigarette case was sold by the American Tobacco Company and originally contained 50 cigarettes. The cigarette tin has full color tin lithography in green, red, white, black and gold and features the classic Lucky Strike “It’s Toasted” logo on the top. This is a very early Lucky Strikes tin, made before the “Flat Fifties” nickname was added, so it is from the late-1910s to early-1930s! It even includes the classic Lucky Strike Indian Head logo inside and on the bottom. The tin is marked “American Tobacco Co.”, “Factory No. 30 District of NC” and “Made in USA” on its bottom. The tin measures about 5⅝” wide x 4⅜” tall x ⅝” deep. As shown in the photos, it is in good condition for its age with nice colors and details. There is noticeable surface wear and soiling, including scuffs and scratches, small marks, some surface rust and oxidation, and light dings or dents that you would expect for such an old tin container. The hinged top opens and closes well. This vintage “Lucky Strike” Cigarettes advertising tin would make a great addition to your collection!
