It\'s been in the attic all this time. It has a thick copper bottom to conduct heat evenly. Cicero Ave. ~ Chicago 39, Ill.******************************It looks like the handle is plastic, so it\'s hard for me to believe that it can go in the oven. I\'m not sure I\'d risk it. This pan is at least 60 years old. Here\'s what I wrote in the condition description: This pan is exactly Like New, because it\'s in its original box and has never been used. BUT the copper part on the bottom did sort of lift an image off the paperwork that came with it -- and I cleaned off HALF the bottom to make sure that it COULD be cleaned off. As you can see, the copper comes out just great.
