One small chip was found and magnified in the last image, indicated by the yellow circle.Actually, it feels like an unpainted (but glazed) spot, not like a chip. Anyway, it is considered a minor hand-painting effect.
The original box is in brand-new condition.

Repairing a small chip on a Villeroy & Boch sculpture requires careful handling and appropriate materials.
Clean the Area: Carefully clean the chipped area and surrounding surface with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Let it dry completely.Prepare the Adhesive: Mix a small amount of epoxy adhesive according to the manufacturer's instructions. Since you're working with a small chip, you'll only need a tiny amount.Apply the Adhesive: Use a micro applicator tool to carefully apply a thin layer of epoxy to the chipped area.Smoothing the Repair: While the epoxy is still wet, use another clean applicator to smooth out the applied adhesive and remove any excess. You can also slightly dampen the tool to help manipulate the adhesive.Remove Excess Adhesive: Gently wipe away any epoxy that spreads beyond the chipped area using a damp cloth. Masking tape can be helpful to create a clean border around the chip if needed.Let it Cure: The epoxy adhesive can cure completely according to the manufacturer's recommended drying time. This can typically take several hours or even a whole day.Sanding (Optional): Once the epoxy is cured, you might need to sand it down to match the surrounding surface. Start with a lower grit sandpaper (around 120) to remove any significant bumps or ridges. Gradually progress to finer grits (up to 2000 or higher) for a smooth finish. Use light pressure while sanding to avoid damaging the surrounding ceramic.Touch-Up Painting (Optional): If the chip causes a minor color loss, you can use acrylic paints to carefully match the color and apply a minor touch-up to the repaired area. Let the paint dry completely.
