The Standard is a direct descendant of the original Swiss Officers knife and the forerunner of the current Spartan. You may never see a standard older than this one, few 70+ year old Victorinox Officers Knives are seen any more, especially in as good condition as this one. Try and find another.
This knife has so many things that indicate its age, but one thing defines its age, the hook shaped can opened (5th picture), which wasonly used from1946 to 1951. The smaller blade has not been sharpened, the early ones were much narrower than later ones. The following are things that are found only on older knives:

Any one of these would make this knife collectable, the Can Opener limits the date to 1946-51.
