Very rare short sword made J. Voos (1800/1850) used of Argentine Police in 1895:

Very rare and antique short sword made by Julius Voos with a Solingen steel blade between the years 1800 to 1850 for the Kingdom of Siam (now Thailand).
It was also sold to other countries. Thus, in 1895 they arrived in Argentina for police use in small quantities.
Originally it was used with a leather sheath but in this case it does not have one.
The total length is 760 mm
The blade is 550 mm

The last photo is only for illustrative purposes of the use of the sword offered for sale.
In very good general condition keeping in mind that it is a piece that is more than 150 years old, especially the handle. The blade has some rust marks that have been polished and can be seen in the photos.
Please note that you are buying a military lag item with many years of service and in the exact condition that can be seen in the photos.
Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as described.
