Here is a massive and stunning red Baculite Fossil from Alberta, Canada. These are very rare long cone shelled cephalopods that lived around 70 million years ago. It has quite a bit of stunning red flashes that woth the right light pictures could not do justice. This is huge and an impressive specimen for a Baculite measures around 13.5inches long by 3 inches wide Paraloid has been applied to this fossil to protect the exterior. This is the same process used by museums to preserve fossils. Watch the attached video (coming soon) to get the best idea of the stunning and beautiful red color flashes this specimen has!
