Always read a sellersresponse prior to purchase...it speaks well of good sellers! This listing is for an 18 inch carbon steel Solingen, Germany chef knife. The light blade etching of Huey and Philp was a large distributor located in Dallas,Texas. They cease business in 1952. I search the web for the same knife and located the one shown in the last picture which was marked asAnton Wingen Jr. The knife for sale has no such marking. One can assume this knife was made by the Anton Wingen Jr. companyfor distribution by the Huey Philp Co. There is some light pitting due to improper storage and one handle rivet has lost its top. This knife is heavy at 1lb. 3oz. with a 12 1/2 inch blade. Please review all photos or ask questions prior to purchase. Payment is requiredwithin 24hoursof completed transaction which makes management of my activities much easier.Communicate if you require more time.Item is shipped using USPS with tracking.
