These flamboyant over the top trippy acid textiles just really have the ability to reach in and shake me...rattle me...and make me the kind of crazy that has so many ideas of what to do with such grand scale 60's illustirious rare beauty that commands a level of fabulousness to live in...the perfect marriage would be high end...framed as art...made into mad huge pillows and allowing the flamboyance to have complete control. It is as if Verner Panton collaborated with Zsa Zsa for her Park Ave apartment...maybe Dorothy Draper was involved as a whisper in the ear to tell Verner to make those flowers look like they came from Alice in Wonderland. We all remember the high end chairs these types of fabrics bedecked...creating chair art.
This offering is for a few inches over 2YDS x 51 inches wide...unused unwashed fantastic heavy yardage...the perfect antidote for a boring day...a heavy cotton canvas...with a crisp glowing white ground that is the perfect backdrop for these crazy florals and tropical shaggy BIRD surveying the sitch...I keep looking for Alice under these larger than life botanicals...gorgeous cobalt...turquoise and chartreuse dominate the pattern with jadeite crayon green...with black accents.
