Murrina (common pluralization murrine) is an Italian term for colored patterns or images made in a glass cane (long rods of glass) that are revealed when cut in cross-sections.Murrine are designed by layering different colors of molten glass around a core, then heating and stretching it into a rod. When cool, the rod is sliced into cross-sections of desired thickness with each slice possessing the same pattern in cross-section.The murrina process first appeared in the Middle East more than 4,000 years ago and was revived by Venetian glassmakers on Murano in the early 16th century.

US orders are shipped by expedited mail which is an Italian postal service that is delivered by US Postal Service. After processing and leaving the warehouse, items usually take between 7 and 14 days to arrive at their destination in the USA, but can take longer from time to time due to US Customs.
Pandemic UPDATE: Unfortunately shipping now takes on average up to 6/8 weeks and if your delivery is time-bound it\'s best to upgrade to UPS 3/5 days.
UK Border Fee - A fee will be implemented, effective 01/01/2021, on all shipments (excluding letters and documents) exported and imported between European Union Countries and Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales), as well as shipments between Northern Ireland and Great Britain. The buyer is responsible for all costs from the point of delivery, including import customs clearance, duties and taxes.
