Vallauris Mid Century Modern Majolica Platter / Centerpiece / Wall Mount by Jerome Massier (1850-1916).

The Massier family had enormous influences on the work of Vallauris Art Community and Vallauris is also known for being home to Pablo Picasso from 1948-1955.

This is a large piece measuring 14.5” in diameter and weighs 4.5 pounds.

It has pronounced “Art Nouveau” influence on a green iridescent metallic luster and brilliant gold highlights.

In addition, being from Vallauris this piece also has early signs of Mid Century Modern with modern \"V\" molded on the base.

It is in excellent Vintage condition with no chips or nicks .

In addition, the back base is a foot, so this unique piece can be a table centerpiece or hang on a wall.

Note photos 1&4 are on the back foot and photos 2&3 are hanging.
