"MAY DAY

The month of May is believed to be named after Maia, the Mother of Mercury, to whom sacrifices were made on the first day of this month. In England in earlier times May Day was the occasion of much festive activity, including dancing around the Maypole and the crowning of the May Queen. A May garland was dressed and carried from house to house and, once seen by everybody, the May Queen and King danced with other children around the Maypole.

Buyer agrees to keep the damaged item and packing for at least 14 days and present it to a local carrier’s office if requested to aid in the processing of an insurance claim. Fees may apply.
