This listing is for a really terrific wax, art candle made by the Adam Geis Fulda Waxworks. It is marked Western Germany, and dates to the 1970s. The candle is near mint, with no damage or issues. All of the applied hand made wax features and decorations are excellent. Paint is lovely, silver and gold are bright. The wick is still there and of course, unlit. The candle is in it\'s original cellophane, but the cellophane is fragile and crumbling, and browned. I took the candle out of the cellophane to photograph it, as the cellophane wasn\'t taped or glued, just wrapped. The box is slightly smashed, but still tight and clean. The candle features a cut out with a 3D figure of the baby Jesus inserted in a blanket in his creche. There are lots of surrounding decorations, and a lovely Moravian Star. The Germans have a history of making exceptional wax pieces; they made marvelous wax dolls in the 1800s. This candle is in that style. I have quite a few wax pieces for sale, so take a look. I will probably remove the listings toward summer, as I don\'t want to ship these pieces from Florida in the summer! Anyway, this one is medium sized, about 7\" tall and 2 3/4\" across. It won\'t disappoint. It is scarce, in this condition with original box.
