This pitcher has an interesting history. It belonged to a relative of my great-grandfather. He was a hermit that lived in Kentucky. When he passed his belongings were divided by his surviving relatives. He was 91 when he passed away in the 1950s and this pitcher belonged to his mother. We are unable to read the stamp on the bottom and we feel it had a basin at one time.It's a Victorian era ivory water pitcher adorned with delicate pink roses. Crafted from high-quality porcelain and finished with a glazed shine, this medium-sized hourglass-shaped pitcher boasts a single compartment and stands at 6.5 inches tall. It still holds water. Weight is 2 lb and dimensions of 4 inches in width. Hand washed only. Perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of bygone eras.
There are no cracks or chips although there is significant crazing. More pictures available on request.
