Oh what a wonderful piece this is! It's a 3D paper sculpture of a HUGE Santa going down the chimney. It's a punch out, easy to assemble piece, with very easy to follow instructions. It was an advertising premium from Family Circle Magazine, and has a copyright date of 1954. There is an advertising piece included that tells the height - 3 1/2 FEET tall! The advertising piece also shows a 9 piece paper 3D ornament kit, but doesn't show the angel that is a similar piece, also from Family Circle, that I have in another listing. The envelope is worn - I repaired a tear on the front with acid free glue and library archival acid free paper tape, just to make sure the tear didn't get any worse. The contents are all excellent. It would be SUCH a fun and kitschy decoration for Christmas. AND, it's quite rare. I have been selling Christmas collectibles for a loooong time, and this is the only one that I have ever had. I have an angel, also a Family Circle paper sculpture that I bought in the same lot, for sale in another listing (an large angel 3D sculpture to hold Christmas cards), if you are interested, as well as lots of rare and kitschy items, quite a few advertising premium pieces!
