VTG Hollywood Regency MCM Set of Two 17" Fairy Elf Pixies Celluloid Figures.

Set of two vintage MCM Hollywood Regency-style tall (17" each) fairies, pixies, elves celluloid hand-painted with excellent detailing figures on stands playing musical instruments.

These are very MCM, made in the 1960s/70s, and would make great conversation pieces. They have beautiful, hand-crafted outfits, they are made of a celluloid material, and they are both playing musical instruments. One is playing what I believe is a sitar, and the other is playing a hand-held harp. They both have pearl-edged pins securing the clothing and instruments, although a few of them need to to be pushed in more to secure them better. Their legs are bare, they are wearing boots, and they are on circular, wooden bases/stands. Their faces are adorable, and you can see their elf ears sticking out of their hair. These are both 17" height, and the one in the yellow seems to be leaning downward a bit, but it's not because he is broken, it's the fact that he is leaning to play his harp. These are in very good condition, however there is a little brown mark (see last photo) on the back of the one in the yellow's leg, but I'm pretty sure it can be removed with a little soap & water or Goo Gone. These are super retro and fun, pretty difficult to find in this condition.
