This vintage, Hard to Find Taylor Instrument table / Desk top barometer was Plated by Taunton Silversmiths and has a wonderful patina, however, if you prefer a bright and shiny piece you could certainly polish it quite easily. The three tab type feet have felt on the bottom so as to protect any furnishing you choose to display it on free of scratches. measures 7 \" diameter and is approx. 2 1/2 \" tall. to 2 3/4 \" tall to top of glass .The brand Taylor is known for its quality and this piece is no exception. The barometer was manufactured in the United States and has not been modified. It is a great addition to any collection and a conversation starter.
