RARE - PAPER MACHE NATIVITY COLLECTIBLES -JAPAN - LARGE 12" SCALEBABY JESUS, VIRGIN MARY, SAINT JOSEPH, GASPAR, MELCHIOR, BALTHASAR - 6 PIECES

Items :"THE HOLY FAMILY" - Baby Jesus, Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph w/ Crook -THE THREE MAGI/KINGS/ WISE MEN - "GASPAR, MELCHIOR, BALTHASAR" -6pc.
Condition : WONDERFUL condition especially considering the age (mid-century 1960's) - The only imperfection I can find is a small spot near Mary's right hand robe which has been repaired (see photo) - All paint surfaces are stable & bases are perfect - Hard to find a better looking set - Rich bright colors - Faces are beautiful - Nicely cared for collection - Has been enjoyed in a glass cabinet as a year round display.
Special Features : Notice the hand painted realistic expressions on each character, the graceful flowing robes & the beautiful wide-eyed Baby Jesus - Each sculpted character tells a unique & different part of the Bethlehem story in glorious & vibrant color w/ no serious surface issues of note.
Material : Paper Mache / Composite.
Imported : All figures are stamped Japan.

King Melchior (With Gold Box) & King Balthasar (Standing Black King) are the tallest at 12.5" Tall x 4" Wide x 4.25" Deep.
Mary, Joseph & Gaspar (Kneeling Black King) measure 9.5" Tall x 4.5" Wide x 4.5" Deep.
Baby Jesus is 5" Long x 3.5" Tall x 4" Wide.
