You are buying a old TAP 47/56 parachute smock in lizard camo pattern. Famous for being used by french metropolitan paratroopers, commandos and légion étrangère.It has been used in all the conflicts in which France was involved after the 2nd World War, from Indochina through Cameroon, Egypt (Suez Canal), Morocco (Ifni War), Zaire, Tunisia (Bizerte), Chad or Algeria.From the period of the late 1950s until the mid 1960s. Herringbone twill in 100% cotton fabric. Zipper brand is Spidex.

The jacket is in overall good used condition. It has a small tear on the back andslightly worn cuffs(see pics). The colors are vivid and bright. Two buttons are missing, one on the cuff and one on the torso opening. All are original, not replaced.The size labelis partially missing. Manufacturer is U.T.A.H. of Toulouse. Size 32, wears like an US small (european medium).The dimensions are as follows:
