Add a touch of vintage charm to your Christmas decor with this medium-sized nutcracker. Online research shows this one to be similar to those titled German Style All Wood Christmas Nutcracker Soldier. Made of wood and sporting painted blue, teal, black, gray, red, silver and gold colors, this nutcracker is similar in style to those once made in Germany. The movable mouth and real feel to his hair (seems to be made of fuzzy cotton) add a playful element to this collectible item. Also a unique part of this nutcracker: his mouth is connected to a piece of wood in his back that acts as a lever to open and close the mouth. The soldier stands on a square wood block measuring 3.5x3.5 inches and the entire item is 15 inches top to bottom. There are a couple pieces of the wood that are loose (the sword being one) and the wood under the mouth lever has a crack...other than those vintage imperfections, this nutcracker is in fine and acceptable condition. Perfect for collectors and holiday enthusiasts alike, this original nutcracker will be sure to delight.
