THE LISTED ITEM IS "PRE-OWNED", ISSUED TO MY FATHER. ITEMS SHOWS HANDLING, AGE AND THE PATINA OF TIME. IN MY OPINION, I SEE NO MAJOR DAMAGES TO THIS LOT OF 2 ITEMS. THE GLASSES ARE IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO BENT FRAMES OR LENS DAMAGES. NO FISSURES, CRACKS OR SCRATCHES TO LENS. THE ALUMINUM CASE SHOWS WEAR, AGE, USE AND PITTED, BUT THAT THE HINGE IS SECURE & OPENING CLASP DOES ENGAGE FOR CLOSURE. APPEARS THAT THE "INSIDE" IS THE ORIGINAL PROTECTIVE CLOTH. MY SENIOR EYES DO NOT SEE ANY PART REPLACEMENTS TO THESE GLASSES? SEEMS TO ME THAT TIME STANDS STILL HOLDING THESE GLASSES TODAY FROM 80+ YEARS AGO.
