WONDERFUL FIND! Vintage MCM 1950s Friley & Fistick Kilnforms, Inc. Trivet, Early American weathervanes. Made of red/terracotta clay with white glaze on top.The back of the trivet also has raised molds of title \"Early American Weathervanes\", a smiling sun with West, East, South directions and 2 clouds blowing at each otherfrom the sides and raised stars. I believe the trademark 56 indicates the year made-1956.
Made by Kilnforms, Inc. (in business 1952-1956) of Columbus Ohio. This Mid-Century Ceramic Trivet was deigned by Eugene Friley and Stanley Fistick in the mid 1950\'s. Condition is used, pre-owned in Great condition for age. Very small minor chip found on close inspection on lower left edge and at very bottom of rooster feet. Rubber footings may show signs of age (stiffness) but are in tact to cover the clay feet.
