THIS IS AN EMPTY BOX w felt pouch and paper - NO PIPE INCLUDED. The listing is for a vintage cardboard box, marked, "London Made GBD - PREHISTORIC." One end is ink stamped, "549...Bent Bulldog Saddle." Inside the box, there are two felt fabric pouches marked, "GBD - LONDON MADE - THE PIPE WITH A PEDIGREE." There is also a tri-folded single slip of paper, that pictures the "Principal Shapes" of pipes, gives tips on "care for your pipe", and advertises GBD tobacco and other products. The box measures 6 & 3/4 inches long. It is 2 & 1/2 inches wide and 1 & 3/4 inches tall. The paper and felt pouches are in EXCELLENT condition. The box is probably FAIR to GOOD. There are chips to the black surface paper on edges and corners of the box top. I don't see a date anywhere, I would "GUESS" this was made around the 1960's - give or take. Box and contents are guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
