This listing is for a scarce, hard to find calendar piece! It is a full pad (January to December of 1953), and was created by the funeral home Harry P. Sullivan & Son for St. Rita of Cascia Church, Augustinian Fathers, in Chicago Illinois. The piece consists of a heavily embossed cardboard frame, a full pad of calendar months (Jan to Dec), and a print of Mary Sacred Heart. The embossing is really spectacular; I tried to show it, but I am not sure you can see the depth. The frame "opens" on the side, and a light weight shiny print of Mary is inside. The print can be removed, and replaced, if you want. The piece is large, measuring 15 1/2" x 9 1/2". It is near mint, with just a very TINY bit of bumping to the corners. The colors are the colors of the Ukrainian flag. I don't know if that is intentional, but the colors are lovely. The Church is an Augustinian Church, meaning they follow the teachings of St. Augstine.
