This is a beautiful pair of Baldwin Brass scallop shell bookends made by Baldwin Brass Company, from the American Museum Collection. They are stamped, inside, \"Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village\". I believe these were manufactured in the1980s.

Each bookend is 6” high and 5” wide, and they are quite heavy! The tongue of the base slips under books to hold them in place. The felted bottoms show very minimal wear and have the Baldwin logo. Excellent condition. There is a very, very tiny scratch on one of the bookends, but I was unable to get it to show up in a photograph due to the mirrorlike finish on the bookends. It\'s undetectable, without really looking hard. They look like new, otherwise.
