The Michigan Beta Chapter of Phi Delta Theta has some of the deepest roots in Michigan State's Greek Life. Dating back to 1873. This was made way back in the day for a guy named Jim. I did some research and the class of 52 had one man whose name started with a J. If you look at the last three or four photos the second row I believe is the real Jim who this was made for. Awesome piece of history and provenance to go along with it.

This was a school sponsored hazing paddle. Ha the school crest on it and everything. Pretty amazing to think about that’s fact that hazing was supported and even promoted is hilarious to me. thanks so much.
