Vintage 1968-69 Shell Oil Gas Mr President Aluminum Token GAME Coins Lot of 8 Unique Measures 26 mm acrossCondition: Pre-owned. Vintage 1968-69 Mr. President Shell Oil & Gas aluminum game token coins. Handed out at random at Shell stations with a gas purchase. There were several coins that were instant winners or key coins that were redeemed for money prizes. There was a bit of a scandal involving this game. Shell changed the rules 3 times and ended up recalling and reissuing all tokens because station employees and people had figured out how to tell what coin was in the packaging. Franklin Mint printed these coins. They didn\'t do a great job, resulting in some known errors. They aren\'t worth a whole lot, but they are fun to look for. These are unsearched, so they may contain error coins that would be of interest to coin collectors.These 8 coins are part of the 25 common non prize token coins. Made out of aluminum.
