VTG 1960s Switzerland Tourism Souvenir Doll Truly Scrumptious Sleep Eyes:

For your consideration is this vintage tourism souvenir doll representing the country Switzerland most likely produced during the 1970s. The box is marked \"Schwitzerli\" and \"Cm. 17 (7\")\" and has a plastic doll stand protruding from the inside. The doll reminds me of the character Truly Scrumptious, from the 1968 movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. She is dressed in an Edwardian style dress and hat. The dress is crudely made and held together with staples and pins. She has a little gold sequin adhered to her lace collar made to look like a brooch. Her arms and legs can be positioned forwards, straight or backwards. Her head turns from side to side and her eyes close when in the lie down position. Her blonde hair is adhered to her head. The hat is attached to the doll with the use of straight pins. The doll is made from semi-rigid plastic. Even a little black mole is painted on her face. The doll stands 4.5 inches tall with her hat and dress extending above and below her. An absolutely delightful little doll.
