VINTAGE 1950s Handy-Hannah ELECTRIC HAIR DRYER w/STAND: Baby Blue (Model #695):

In excellent condition. FULLY-FUNCTIONAL & TESTED (BUT USE IS NOT RECOMMENDED DUE TO THE LIKELY PRESENCE OF ASBESTOS INSULATION). No chips, no cracks and no dents to the metal casing, but there are a few minor scratches/scuff marks. Wire is intact and is not split or cracked. No chips and no cracks to the plastic handle either; however there are a few spots where the flexible rubber of the electrical cord have reacted over time with the hard plastic of the handle. Reactions has left a series of shallow grooves in the handle. Any flaws, if present, will be either written about here in the condition section of the listing OR visible in the photos. Examine ALL of the photos carefully, using the \"SUPERSIZE\" feature for each. Photos often can illustrate the item’s condition better than any words can. Origin/History: Found in an estate sale in Virginia.

Function/Use: Used for drying hair.

Structure/Composition: Made of blue enameled metal with a white plastic (Bakelite?) handle. Handle has a hole in the center to stand it on the blue enameled stand. Hair dryer has two (2) switches: An on/off switch & a hot-air/cold-air switch.
