The scapular (meant to hang along the scapular bones of your neck) are blessings. The brown scapular are from the Carmelites, and take their color from the original pieces which were cut from the robes of the Friars. The scapular are blessings all by themselves. They cannot be blessed by a lay person - just someone who is ordained in the Catholic church. When worn, they offer complete protection from sin. So, wear them always. These are small, and called \"pocket\" pieces, as they can fit in a small pocket or small case. The little finger rosary is the same type - a small item meant to be discretely carried. The little rosary is the same on both sides - Jesus is visible from BOTH sides, with tiny little roses. Both pieces are charming, and from the 1950\'s. They have been well cared for; both pieces are clean and bright. The finger rosary is lovely, with the piece looking quite lacey as the parts around Jesus and the Inri are \"cut out\".
The scapular pieces measure 1 1/2\" x 1\", and the finger rosary is 1 3/4\" long. The ring portion of the finger rosary is small, just 5/8\" across. Sorry, but I don\'t know the ring size, but it will fit on at least the first knuckle on most hands.
