VTG 1920S UNUSED MOTTO VALENTINE CARD WITH HIDDEN POP OPEN PICTURE OF CUPID, ENV:

Motto cards were really popular in the 1920\'s. The term has come to mean any of the single cardstock cards that were given as greetings during the 1920\'s. They always feature fine line drawings that are sometimes hand colored. I have really looked closely at this one, and I think it is hand colored. I had to really examine it to figure out if it was hand made, and I don\'t think so. I think it is printed, and then hand colored. It is beautiful, and so unusual, with the little window. That is a novelty feature that wasn\'t usually included in motto styled cards. I have included an old envelope, that is from the same era as the card, but is slightly larger, and has some age discoloration. The card has a few very tiny marks, but overall is close to perfect.
