VTG 1920S EASTER CANDY CONTAINER, LONG BILLED DUCK, GERMANY, UNMARKED:

This lovely candy container is medium sized - 5 1/4" tall. He was made in Germany, and sold in Germany, so is unmarked as to country. He is made from a very stiff cardboard that is painted, and feels like wood. He is a little unsteady when standing - probably because his bill is so long, lol. He has a charming hat with a silver embossed paper band, and a jaunty yellow feather in the band. the inside is clean, although slightly age darkened. He is overall in Near Mint condition. The flaws are very minor. The only flaw that is worth really mentioning is that he has trouble standing. The bottom half stands fine, until you put the top on, then he becomes a tiny bit wobbly. His colors are bright, and he is clean with no bad smells. The paint on his round little belly is very slightly starting to crack. I mention all the flaws, minor or not, so that there are no surprises when he comes to you in the mail. You really won't be disappointed.
