VINTAGE WW1 TRENCH ART SHELL VASE HAMMERED REPOUSSE' ROSE LEAVES SCALLOPED TOP:

This is an World War One antique trench art vase made from an old shell casing. Beautiful hammered flower, leaves and texture with a scalloped top edge. It measures 8 5/8" tall x 3 1/2" at the base, and was painted gold at one point. Very heavy. There are some paint scuffs and some blue paint splatters near the top. A great looking piece of history. Please see all photos. Sold as found.
