This vintage hand-painted black lacquer box from the former USSR is a unique and rare collectible. The box features intricate designs and is signed by the artist. It measures approximately 3 inches by 2 inches and is a beautiful addition to any collection. The box's provenance is unknown, adding to its mystery and charm. It was made in the Russian Federation and is a handmade piece, reflecting the country's rich culture.
Painting on top of box is perfect. No chips in the paint. When moved in the light, it seems to show rubs in lacquer. Bottom of box has rubbed marks and inside there is one chip in the lid rim. All is pictured.
Box is in great vintage condition and is absolutely beautiful.
