Hello. Up for consideration is a Vintage Original Westinghouse Streetcar/Trolley Air Brake Valve Handle made of Cast Iron Metal & Wood and weighs 1 pound 8 oz.
This handle comes from my late father\'s railroadiana collection of overe 50 years.
The motorman would use this handle to apply and release air to the brake system on the streetcar.A magnet sticks to the metal parts.
Looks all original showing signs of use including some marring/rub marks and some surface rust but I don\'t see any broken or damaged parts (I don\'t see any breaks or cracks in the metal).Marked with Westinghouse \"W\" (see photo 2).
Has excellent color/patina design and detail.Measures approximately 9 inches long and weighs 1 pound 9 ounces.
Comes from my late father\'s Railroadiana collection of over 50 years.
