This vintage Puritan cast iron skillet is a true gem for any collector. Made by Favorite Stove & Range, this large 10" skillet with lid is perfect for any gas or electric or wood stove top. Its classic black color and cast iron material make it not only functional but also a beautiful piece for display. This skillet is an original beloved antique, perfect for those who appreciate a touch of history in their kitchen. The set includes a lid and its vintage authenticity adds to its charm. This one was not made by Griswold although Favorite and Griswold were both commissioned by Sears to make their cast iron. They were two of the best foundries. Favorite has long been considered as good of quality as Griswold. Griswold style numbers were different is pretty much only difference in the Puritan pieces. As you can see in photo of inside it is not perfectly slick but the discrepancies shown matter little. Paper thin. Buyer to pay shipping.
