VINTAGE PUNISHER PROMO POSTER 1987 MARVEL COMICS KLAUS JANSON ART. An extension of my Going Digital Sale is I’m unloading some posters as well! The house is only so big. All photos are of the exact item you’ll be offerding on. This is the 11 X 17” promotional poster for the first ongoing Punisher series from 1987. The artwork is by legendary creator Klaus Janson, most well-known for his collaborations with Frank Miller on Daredevil and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. For the most part, it is in excellent condition. As this was a promotional poster, it was sent to retailers in that month’s order pack already folded. There is a small stain towards the right edge of the crease, visible in the heel of the Punisher’s hand and the butt of the gun handle. Also, there is a small scratch on the upper left, just to the left of the Punisher logo. I’ve shown close-up photos of the affected areas. The poster has been stored flat for the last several years in an Itoya portfolio.
